bread. Okay, good morning everyone. Chofetz Chaim Parshas Ki Sisa. L'daascha Hashem mikadishcha. By the mitzvah of Shabbos, it says to know that I am Hashem who sanctifies you. Chofetz Chaim cites the Gemara in Shabbos Yud Amud Beis, "Amar lei Hakadosh Baruch Hu l'Moshe, "Matana tovah yesh li b'veit genazai. I have a good gift in my treasure house, the Shabbos sh'ma. It's called Shabbos. "V'ani m'vakesh l'tno l'Yisrael. I want to give it to Klal Yisrael. "Lech v'hodi'em." Go and let them know. Shabbos is the most significant gift that Hashem gave Klal Yisrael. Like a a chasan and a kallah that they send gifts to each other after their engagement, so the chasan gives the kallah machzorim. The chasan gives the kallah uh a lechter. I don't know. The chasan gives the kallah gifts. The kallah gives the chasan uh cufflinks, whatever the exchange of gifts are. V'hinei im amnam yakara sh'chazal hakadosh amru mil'pogeash achas b'achad nashim ham'zanos d'lavana m'ranan eis achareihem sh'nifsal gishvineihem. Basically, the story is like this. The chasan and the kallah, they're not meeting. Nobody They're not going out the allotted once a week of their engagement. And the women who are uh stirring the pot, are chattering, "What's going on? Is the engagement broken?" But it's not clear. It could be they didn't get together because the chasan is taking a test and he has to study or the kallah is finishing her finals. It's not clear, but the ladies are starting to chatter and yenta and chirp. But there's a rumor that maybe something happened. But once there's a rumor, the kallah gave the chassan back the machzorim. Can you imagine? The yentas are talking. The kallah gave the chassan back the machzorim. And then they look at her finger and she's not wearing the engagement ring.
