thoughts that's also important when uh I was a mashah during a particularly dark period of my life so there was this one guy who never got up in the morning and uh when you went into his room his room was covered in little pieces of paper with quotes on them and uh they were absolutely fascinating you know a lot of them he said to me later that he did this because he was hoping the rabbis would get distracted from the quotes and leave him alone and very often it worked because it's amazing how you know a really good quote can uh can really uh make an impact on you when you think about it and there was one I I mean everybody had one I suppose that made an impact on them uh Rabbi flam who was uh who was one of the rash Shiva had lost an eye in a uh what automobile accident and um he seemed to have focused on the quote that said in the land of the blind the oneeyed man is King he just kept looking at that with his one good eye but for me there was one that made a deep impression on me and it was a quote by Minnesota Fats I assume nobody out there has ever heard of Minnesota Fats he was a famous uh pool player if you want to be a little more fancy could call a bards player yeah but he was a pool player they in
