So why the great the great Miriam So why the great the great Miriam who we know had so many things to her credit and her merit was the Be'er Shel Miriam that we drank Millions of people drank water from uh the 40 years. She was the one that told her father that he should take back her mother and because of her Moshe Rabbeinu was born. And then she stood by the water and when Moshe Rabbeinu didn't nurse from any of the Egyptian women. She suggested Yocheved. Uh suggested Yocheved. Uh she was the one that led the Shira al Hayam bat Elohim Shir Miriam. Miriam led song of the women. She was a leader amongst the women. Why did she die in the desert? Why? Why? Why? Why didn't she enter into Eretz Yisrael? So my friend suggested, and I think I once saw this, that it wouldn't have been to the honor of Moshe and Aaron that they died in in Eretz Yisrael and their sister survived.
