it's always going to mount sinai 3 300 years ago and every year not only do we remember what happened then but god is giving us a feeling an idea and the uplifting of what happened then we're not only thinking about it but we are experiencing it we're going through what they went through what they went through in a small way but it's something that we are gaining from and not just remembering but the more we are enthusiastic and the more that we try to keep it the best way we can according to the torah law the more we will be elevated and be able to get higher ideals and ideas and levels of spirituality from this and levels of spirituality from this wonderful yamtif and one of the highlights of the umph is that it's a custom that people stay up the whole night studying the torah first night of schwarz if you go into any orthodox synagogue or any yeshiva to come in and it's like the middle of the day people are studying torah with teachers with teachers with partners and everybody according to their level so i hope that you'll also join in what the jewish people are doing all around the world whether it's this country australia the holy land of israel england wherever you go you'll find people staying up a whole night studying total the first night of the shows so it's a wonderful thing to be part of it's to show our great love and appreciation and appreciation and our great feeling of our realizing what torah is and there's no better way to show that appreciation and our esteem for torah is by studying diligently that's how we show our appreciation for the total so i think since we're going to start off our program tonight with and the whole discussion will be about the torah
