the yeshiva dotnet okay good morning everybody and welcome they tell an anecdote about a couple who had a dispute about a boat the husband really wanted a purchase for himself a big yacht and his wife felt it was a horrible idea and they argued about it for years and then one day he just decided to buy it without her consent and permission he bought it and when she found out about it she was quite upset so he tells her listen and the spirit of compromise I'll have the boat but I will allow you to name it you could name the boat being a good sport she accepted anyway he goes to the dock for the first the maiden voyage of the boats and he sees the name that she chose painted on the side in huge huge words for sale a nice name I don't mean to give you any ideas but I think it's a fear intro introduction to the theme one of the themes we'll be exploring today and that is the structure of any worthy story is of supreme importance which detail comes first second third is one of the first things any writer must learn there are people who communicate whether in speaking or writing they have good messages but they don't know how to organize their messages they can't structure their messages properly and therefore it becomes confusing disorienting for the listener or for the reader somebody once told me about speaking he said when you speak you have to do three things you have to say three things stand up tell them what you're gonna tell them then
