It's Rosh Chodesh Chodesh Sivan. We're getting ready, looking forward towards end of this week Shavuos, Bnei Yisrael Litovah. And I wanted to learn a few pesukim together right now about Rosh Chodesh Sivan. So let's rewind back to Sefer Shmos, Parshas Yisro. Perek Yud Tes. Pasuk Aleph. The pasuk says B'chodesh hashlishi, on the third month, that's hashlishi, on the third month, that's Sivan. Let's say Bnei Yisrael me'Eretz Mitzrayim, when Bnei Yisrael left Egypt, bayom hazeh, on this day. B'vo'am b'Midbar Sinai. Bnei Yisrael arrived at Midbar Sinai. And the Ramban on that pasuk asks the following question. He says the words are out of order. Cuz if you rewind back to Perek Tet Zayin Pasuk Aleph the Torah says Vayisu me'Elim, Bnei Yisrael left this Vayisu me'Elim, Bnei Yisrael left this place called Elim. Vayavo'u kol adas Bnei Yisrael el Midbar Sin, they they arrived at the Midbar Sin. Asher bein Elim u'vein Sinai, okay, it tells you where it is. B'chamisha asar yom l'chodesh hashaini, and it tells you the date that they arrived. First the Torah says where they left from, where they arrived to, and then tells you what the date is. The date's not so important. Here the Torah goes the reverse, says the opposite. The Torah says on the third month, on this day
