Good evening, everyone. Yesterday was parashat Lech Lecha in the Torah. As we started the new cycle of the year in Rosh Hashanah and Simchat Torah, I should say. And the few in very important things we learn from the parashah, it also relates to tefillah, to the davening, to the prayers that we have every day. As we know, the parashah started that Hakadosh Baruchu told Avraham to leave everything in his place and to go to a different country. different country. No explanation was given. God never told him where he's going. It's not so simple to move, as we know in our generation, when you have all the the the the cars and we have everything is electronic, it's still very hard to to move. In the old days, when you have so much so many animals, cows, donkeys, slaves, to start taking everyone with you where you go, it's not so simple. If it was only you and your wife and few children, you can control it. But when children, you can control it. But when you have hundreds of slaves and servants, they have their own kids, to transfer them to a new climate, new place, it's not so simple. And still, Avraham Avinu doesn't make a beep. He doesn't ask Hashem where, how can it be, Hashem, I'm doing so so well here? Cuz you know, Avraham Avinu, when he was 52 years old, he started to teach people about God. When he was 3 years old, he started to search for God. All these years. His father was worshipping idols, Terach.
