Last week we laid down the foundation of Shaar HaYichud v'HaEmunah. This idea that at every moment everything is being recreated anew because were Hashem to withdraw the creative energy from this world for a moment, everything would cease to exist. Tohu vaVohu. Right? Everything would be tohu vaVohu. Um I'm not even sure tohu vaVohu. Va'eres hayesa tohu vaVohu. That was after the world was created. If Hashem would take away his energy would be before. It would be like it was before tohu vaVohu. It'd be ayin v'efes, absolute nothingness. Tohu vaVohu means chaos. We're talking uh Tohu vaVohu is emptiness. Vacuum, lack. The world but va'eres hayesa tohu vaVohu. There was an earth which was There was a vacuum on it and there was There was nothing there. Yeah. Nothing alive. But uh we're talking here the world would re- would revert to absolute nothingness. Which means that the world requires constant constant the constant infusion of energy from Hashem in order to keep it going. That is going to be the foundation of the entire Shaar HaYichud v'HaEmunah which we're going to build on. There's going to be a lot of different principles that are going to be impacted by this foundation which we learned last week. And the first thing we're going to learn about this week is about hashgacha protis and about miracles. When it comes to miracles there's something very funny.
