Good evening everybody. We're progressing with our journey of Masilis in the path of the just becoming closer to Hashem every week. We're now on chapter 24 nearing the end of the safer zem and we're talking about a fear of sin. Now the word fear conjures up fear into the minds of a modern day or a audience. It's almost impossible to talk about fear nowadays. I don't know why that is. It could be that people are more um naturally disposed to panic attacks. I don't know. Fear is something that you really It's very difficult for people who are in my line of uh business so to speak, rabbis, people who are trying to inspire people to talk about fear. Fear is not something people want to hear about, but it's a necessary component of what it means to serve Hashem. And although it's very non-PC, so Judaism is not PC, Judaism is truth. And you know, when we have to call a spade a spade, we'll call a spade a spade. So we're going to talk about fear. And fear divides into three parts. The first the sham is going to talk about we've already discussed it earlier in the book is something which he says is a very simple thing to attain um I'm not sure nowadays that's so simple as it might have been at one point the second part of hashem is something much more elevated much more difficult and that itself divides into two parts so let's start writing now at the beginning of chapter 24 be the explanation of the fear of sin says, "You see that this mida this characteristic this character trait is being placed is being um counted is being uh introduced placed way way way late in the book.
