Shavuot is man matan toraseinu and sukkot is man simchaseinu. Pesach is our birthday as a nation. It is on Pesach that Hakadosh Baruch Hu brought us like mikerev We went down to Mitzrayim as a family. Shiv'im nefesh, Yaakov and his family. We developed into a tribe. We came out of Mitzrayim as a nation, as a people. So, Pesach as a nation is our birthday. And Pesach is unique. What is the message of Pesach? Sippur yetzias Mitzrayim is the soul of the Seder night. And the Rambam writes perek zayin halacha aleph in hilchos chametz u'matzah, mitzvah assei she'al Torah lesaper benisim venifla'os shenasu la'avoseinu beMitzrayim. We have a story to tell. And the time to tell that story is primarily be'leil haSeder. What is the essence of the story? Nisim venifla'os she'asah Hakadosh Baruch Hu la'avoseinu beMitzrayim. It is not only a story of redemption. It is not a story of freedom. It is a story of miracles. And the Ramban explains Ramban al haTorah at the end of parshas Boi, why is this story so important? Min hanisim hagdolim v'hamefursamim od hamodeh benisim hanistarim she'heim yesod kol haTorah kulah. I do not remember such an exaggerated expression of the Ramban. What is the yesod of kol haTorah kulah? She'ein lanu chelek beToras Moshe Rabbenu she'kol divareinu v'mikreinu hem nisim
