Tonight, we are observing the yard side Hilula of the Alter Rebbe Bal Tanya Baal Shulchan Aruch. Uh, change the lighting. Okay. That's that's the Ohr of Shnei Ohr. The Alter Rebbe was the posek in Nigleh and in Nister as he is implied by his name Shnei Ohr, the two lights. the two lights. And his two great works, the Tanya, which is the Torah Sheb'al Peh of Chassidus, and the Shulchan Aruch HaRav, which is his uh revision and uh new pres- presentation of of of the Halachos of Shulchan Aruch. Tonight's presentation is chiefly a biographical look at the life of the Alter Rebbe, and more specifically at one very specifically at one very particular Tkufa, or uh period in the life of the Alter Rebbe, the the months, roughly about 140 days, leading up to the event that we commemorate tonight. So, we're going to be speaking about focusing on the last few months of the Alter Rebbe's life. Uh before before we do so, I just wanted to share a uh to share a uh an idea, a thought, a Torah thought. Happens to be You hear something good, and you want to share it. You know, it's like some people, money burns a hole in their pocket. Others, you hear a good vort, and you you have to share it. So, uh Shabbos, I was actually in Crown Heights.
