Good afternoon. This is a divar Torah on um a Shana rabba. Now, there's a number of questions that can be asked on a Shana rabba. First of all, what is its ultimate significance on a deeper level? On a surface level, we do seven hakafos hoshanas around seven times. We say um a lot of other things. They're all tied into the hoshanas. And at the end, at the completion of that, we put down the arba minim. We pick up the five aravos, hit them exactly five times. Now, interestingly enough, the shliach tzibbur a person leading the davening for Musaf service puts on a kittel. This should indicate it's the day of judgment. Same thing, many men wear it. On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, women wear white garments, but in this case, the only one who wears it is shliach tzibbur for Musaf. And we have to understand the cycle here. It is the third of the the times of judgment in the month of Tishrei. The first one was Rosh Hashanah, where the um initial judgment was written. Second one, where Hashem, whatever judgment he's going to give us for the coming year, is sealed. And like, even in the Jewish court, beit din, or secular court, three things required before you can execute a judgment against somebody. First, you got to write it. Second one, you got to put a court seal on it. Third, you got to deliver to the person, cuz until the person knows what's happening, he can't No. That's why Rosh Hashanah is the third
