The Torah tells us that Jacob sent messengers to his brother Asov. Since he did not see his brother in over 20 years, he wanted to see whether or not his brother had forgiven him for taking the blessings. And Rashi tells us that why does the Torah choose the word malim to mean messengers? Says Rashi malim to mean messengers? Says Rashi malish to tell us that Yakov literally sent angels mamos literally physically to go to Asov. And Yakov did not send human beings of flesh and blood because of his concern that Asov should in no way, God forbid, harm these people. This is the story of the Torah. What is the concept of? What is the concept of messengers in the Torah? the concept of messengers in the Torah? What is the mitzvah? And how do we derive this concept? And how can we live by this concept today? First and foremost, the Ram tells us based on the verse in numbers chapter 18 verse 28 that there's a mitzvah to take off a tithe in the Torah. Number one, every person is supposed to give 50 150th of person is supposed to give 50 150th of their grain to the Cohen. And then you give one/10enth to the Levite and after that the Levite also has to give one/10enth to the Cohen. So the Rambam says that we derive from this puzzle.
