Beneath we're now holding in the days of Sefirat Ha Omer in between Pesach and Shavuot. Men in Haggadah is to count 49 days. Women have a built-in calendar. You don't have to count it. However, we know that the Omer means a measure of barley that the Chachamim taught us that the Torah used to bring as a korban. Now, it's a very strange type of a bracha, Sefirat HaOmer. What What are we bracha, Sefirat HaOmer. What What are we counting towards? The holiday of Matan Torah. We came out of Mitzrayim for what? So we could be free to serve the creator of the world. To find purpose in life. The whole reason why Hashem took us out of our shackles in Mitzrayim was to become one with Hashem, Matan Torah. So now we're counting 49 days. Last night already was 13 days. We keep going. 25% over there. And the name of the holiday or the name of the name of the holiday or the name of the days is called Omer. It's like a strange thing, no? The Omer was a korban that they brought the day after Passover. Happens to be that's the day they they started counting. So that's question number one. Why are we calling it the counting of the Omer? What is the significance have to do with us? We don't bring korban anymore. And we don't sacrifice. We don't have a Beit HaMikdash. So that would be the first question. The second question that the Chachamim ask is that the name of the holiday is called Shavuot.
