[Music] we're recording here at NAVAIR SH Lian College of women's studies we're doing the mystical Hebrew alphabet series and in this series we go through the shapes and meetings and letters of the Hebrew alphabet we have the only language that we believe is god-given all of the languages are man-made so in other languages letters have no inherent philosophical meaning their shapes of represent sounds in Torah Hebrew every represent sounds in Torah Hebrew every letters a concept I love means something baking something Gitmo means something go means something and so on and so forth so the shape has to do with the meaning of the letter and the mathematical value the kamon tree also has to do with meaning letter and yesterday we were working on the letter dalet we said dollar was the letter of simple physicality right that's why the root of the word Allah is dal simple or poor and we went over the shape of the dollar as well so what I want to do right now is a little bit more on the right now is a little bit more on the idea of dollar and that is that if you want to find out more about letters of the Hebrew alphabet where do you look so there's some very good Torah books in English that discuss the alphabet you can see me afterwards and I'll give you some suggestions yeah that's one of the wisdom that you grab a bet by monk is over there that's very good and those are our modern sources which glean information from all sorts of Torah
