The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Alon Anava’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

We're going to continue where we took off Parashat Chayei Sarah. It's page 121 B. And we finished today learning the Tosefta for the Zohar. And very briefly what we talked about the last couple days is we were going through the story of Yona Navi. And we're now going to try to see what's the connection between the story of Yona and Chayei Sarah. We explained that Yona Navi, when he was thrown into the ocean, he wasn't just having a fishing trip with a whale. He rather he died. And after that, he was revived and brought back to life, what we call in our generation and the near-death experience. If there was YouTube 2,000 years ago, he would have a channel and go and lectures around the world. But nevertheless, he had a near-death experience and that's when he got back. And Excuse me? That he doesn't say. He doesn't say, but it just said that when he was thrown into the water, he actually died. And then when the whale swallowed him, the whale died. And then when Yona was brought back, then he was brought back and the whale was brought back. Whether he stayed there alive and actually in the stomach for 3 days doesn't say, but nevertheless, uh we learned that to understand that when we go to sleep at night, the Zohar says that our soul goes up to Shamayim and it goes to the big din of the Kadosh Baruch Hu and it gets judged throughout
