If we knew how lucky we are that we are we're chosen, we would run to do all the mitzvot with such happiness and joy. Many times a person becomes more observant and they start to feel restricted. Well, I used to be able to eat whatever I want. Now I can only eat certain foods. I used to be able to say what I want. Now I have to think before I talk. Is this going to make an effect on somebody? Is it going to hurt them? Or is it going to be lashon?
