What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

[Applause] Uh good evening. Good evening. [Music] Good evening. Welcome to another Sunday evening in Onatan. Going to have a important interesting guest few minutes hopefully right tell you some personal story before we start for those who are not aware of it. This is a young guy that grew up in San Diego and was in a rock band and they started to play in all kinds of clubs. But eventually they became very famous locally and just when they're about to get they already got a contract with I think Capital Record, one of these biggest capital record companies in America perhaps in the world. You will hear it from him. I'm not 100% sure. He discovered Judaism even though I was a Jew never knew anything about it. you're going to see he's going to show you how he used to be and how he is today and the rest you hear from him. It's a supposedly it's an in interesting life story which can encourage all of us. I'm just coming from a a lecture in Rosley now which took already from 5:00 was also Hashem special event there. It's amazing how sometimes you have Jews that come just to hear a lecture and they're not aware of what's going to be after it and the end of the lecture you see it's like a newborn his life is you see right away the person changed his whole 30 40 years of his life is willing to erase and start freshem will have this opportunity I'm going to start with few interesting things until you show up and then uh we move on we We are very close now to Purim. Hopefully next Sunday I'm going to be be able when is exactly Purim? What day?
