So we have to mention that on November 1st, 1755, there was an earthquake here in Lisbon which is said to be 9.2 on the Richter scale, one of the worst if not the very worst earthquake in the history of Europe. It leveled 85% of the entire city. At the time, when did it happen? November 1st, All Saints' Day, which is the primary Christian holiday. What time did it happen? 9:30 a.m. When 200,000 Christians were in mass. And at the time hundreds of thousands
