Kaf Zion Nissan, it's the Yahrzeit of Reb Aryeh Zvi Fromer, Hashem Yinkom Domo. The Kozhiglover Gaon. Reb Aryeh Zvi Fromer has no kever, has no matzeiva. Reb Aryeh Zvi Fromer has no living descendants. We're here on the fifth floor of the Mendel Gottesman Library of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchok Elchonon. In 1993, 1992, December 23rd, Reb Fromer's brother dedicated the floor of this library in memory of his brother. This floor is dedicated in memory of Reb Leib Hirsch Fromer, Dean of the famed Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin, and a revered Torah scholar and world-renowned authority on Halacha, who perished at Majdanek during the Holocaust. May the legacy of learning he left behind be a blessing for the ages, and down through the generosity of Leon and Gina Fromer, December 23rd, 1992, the 20th day of Kislev, 5753. Here there's a picture of Reb Aryeh Zvi Fromer, capturing just a little bit his great inspiring Yiras Shomayim. Reb Fromer davened in a remarkable way. All the talmidim who saw Reb Fromer daven were indelibly affected for the rest of their life. The Gemara tells us in the Yerushalmi in Shekalim, Ein oisin nafshos l'tzaddikim. We don't make a matzeiva for tzaddikim. Divreihem hein hein zichronam. The words of the tzaddik, they themselves are the memory of the tzaddik. Why does the Yerushalmi emphasize hein hein zichronam? They themselves, what's the emphasis? The words themselves are the memory of the tzaddik. We can explain with a great chiddush that the Eretz Zvi offered. The Eretz Zvi taught it's a Gemara in Yevamos, it's a Gemara in Berachos, that Reb Nachman prayed, "Ribono shel Olam, Olam haba Olam hazeh." He says, "Ribono shel Olam, I would like to live
