the share of Israel. Okay. So this is actually our last Wednesday night share before Shavuot because this year Shavuot is Tuesday night and Wednesday and Thursday. So it's our last share before first we have a public service announcement. The safer on now has a mock cover. It is a very unique design. It's a very rare design. We're going lengthwise. Who said the safer has to be tall? Who said that? Right? This way It's a lengthy subject. It's something that occupies one's whole life. It's a very unique design. Very beautiful cover. If you'd like to be it's still available to join and participate in. Okay, we have an amazing topic tonight. We're going to talk about the Yom Tov of Shavuos and Kabbalas HaTorah. And the Gemara tells us in Maseches Shabbos on daf peh ches amud beis, the Gemara gives us the account by Rebbi Shimon bar Levi, that when Moshe Rabbenu went l'marom, Moshe Rabbenu went upstairs, and the heavenly angels said to Hakadosh Baruchu, "Ribbono shel Olam, mah l'cha al yelud ishah ben Adam?" What's this guy doing here? What's this man, what's this human being doing here? We're angels, we're holy, we're pure. How could there be a basar v'dam up in the heavens? God said, "What do you mean, why is he here? He came to get the Torah." So the the angel said, "This treasured prize that's been stowed away 974 generations before the world was created." Did you know that the Torah was given in the 26th generation, right? Because 10 generations to Noach, 10 to Avraham, six to Moshe. It's the 26th generation, but there's an idea, we say it every morning, "Davar tzivah l'elef dor", that God gave the Torah in the 1,000th generation, which means the Torah was stowed away for 974 generations before
