No. The Gemara says in Pesachim, page 8 , paragraph 8. Rabbi Elazar said: Those on a mission to perform a commandment are not harmed, neither on their way there nor on their way back. Rabbi Elazar said this based on a teaching. This is the teaching: Issi ben Yehuda says, because the Torah said, "Neither shall any man covet thy land," it teaches that your cow may graze in the meadow and no beast will harm it, your chicken may peck in the trash and no weasel will harm it. And by way of a* kal v'chomer*(a fortiori argument): If these, who are prone to be harmed, are not harmed; then human beings, who are not prone to be harmed, all the more so ! I only know this for the way there; how do I know it for the way back? The Scripture says: "And you shall turn in the morning and go to your tents," teaching that you shall go and find your household in peace. And since it applies even to the return, why would it not apply to the way there? Rather, it is based on what Rabbi Ami said.
