Good evening. I hope your days since Yom Tov have been fruitful and blessed. The story is told of the Balshemtov's son. The Balshemtov had a son, Zvi, and a daughter named Adel. Adel was the more famous one. She had the illustrious Reb Boruch of Mezhibozh as a son. Um and she had the the Degel Machneh Um and she had the the Degel Machneh Ephraim as a son, and she had um Feiga, um who became the mother Feiga, uh from her came out Reb Nachman of Breslov. That's how we say Nachman ben Feiga. Uh so I want to start with two short stories before we get into Achrei Mos and Kedoshim. and Kedoshim. Zvi did a very rich shidduch. The son of the Balshemtov married a very chashuve family, and they happened to have been wealthy. And Zvi got into the mood of giving larger tzedakah and everything cuz he had the money. But his father passed away, the Balshemtov was nifter, and a few years later Zvi ran out of the money. So he started going to his and he felt So he started going to his and he felt terrible a terrible squeeze, because when you get used to a different lifestyle of being able to give out not $10, but 500 at a time, that type of thing, and then you can't do it anymore, you feel doubly pressed. So he going to the talmidim of his and chassidim of his father, of the Baal Shem Tov, Shem Tov, and each and every one gave him an eitzah and gave him advice and gave him love and that and he continued and continued, but it nothing was happening. So, he went to Reb Pinchas Koretzer, who was the youngest talmid of the Baal Shem Tov, and a friend of the Mezritcher Maggid, not a chossid of Mezritcher Maggid, but a very good friend,
