hanukkah is approaching and we're going to discuss an interesting aspect of hanukkah and we're going to examine a very important part of the question and that is if you look through mishnais one will notice that the word hanukkah does appear a number of times tanaka does appear in the mishnah's for instance in the sakta vikram when you have to offer your first fruits so the mishnah says that um yeah if anybody's interested in ice cream uh ribsuki's coast will be distributing the ice cream distributing the ice cream anyway the mishna says it says like this from sukis until hanukkah that's the time of the year that you could bring the bikurim and fulfill all the technical requirements of the quran so that's one mention of hanukkah and the mishnahs another mention of chanaka it's uh the mishnah says in rosh hashanah about how during certain months of the year the agents of bazin would go out and proclaim when rosh chodesh was one of proclaim when rosh chodesh was one of the months of the year that the agents would go out was kiss slave because of hanukkah another mention is right damages one would not necessarily think that hanukkah would be mentioned and nevertheless the mission tells us that if a storekeeper keeps a fire outside of his store and all right let's imagine if you made a light a fire outside your store and a guy walks by he knocks over the fire he burns down the whole building so obviously the store keeper is going to be held liable for the damages who keeps
