of devekas how we can connect with hashem in a way that we are clinging to him that we are connecting to him that we feel his presence no matter what's going on in our lives so we may be tempted to react with envy or jealousy we may be tempted to fly off the handle with anger or rage we may be frustrated by life by people by the world around us but with vacus when we cling to god we have nothing to worry about nothing to fear we know he's in the room we know he's watching what we're doing we know he's holding and lifting us up when we are aware of his presence it brings a tremendous sense and a state of calm it brings a tremendous state and a sense of confidence of confidence that everything is going to be okay not because it's going to happen the way that we want necessarily but because it's going to happen by design it's not random it's not chance it's not happenstance but rather it is going to happen by design i said yesterday in the parasha class i'm going to say tomorrow night we have a wonderful event on khasidus beginning at 8 30 tomorrow night with ramosha weinberger and reverend how to connect to our inner selves and i'll probably say this again tomorrow night but in our parsha when yaakov is telling yosef before he gives him the bracha the blessing and he says i want to share with you the greatest blessing i have and you know what that is means who shepherded me that my life is not just a string of chants and random events things don't happen by accident i'm not just a victim of nature everything is by design
