Okay, welcome everyone. I'm going to have Shabbos and toyva. Shabbos shuva tough shin pay Zion. Welcome everybody. We have amazing material today. I hope um I wish Hashem should give me a brocha everyone with the year of shofar brocha and hatzlacha. We're going to begin with smuchim miyad. Actually, this is the penultimate shiur of smuchim miyad explaining the juxtaposition of the parshas haTorah. As we mentioned, we began this journey in Bereishis. We didn't know where it would lead us. And baruch Hashem, we are we we've been through a lot of the Chumash so far. Uh we're ready up to Hazinu. This is the second-to-last parsha. So, baruch Hashem, Hashem guided us until today, and we pray that Hashem help us complete the series of smuchim miyad. Gedalia, the numerical value of Gedalia is 52. And we mentioned there 52 days from Tisha B'Av until Tzom Gedalia. There were 52 years that Eretz Yisrael lay desolate from the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash. And so, that's a nekudah, which is what we call divrei Elokim chaim. But now we're explaining the connection between the end of Vayelech and the beginning of Hazinu. Interestingly, Vayelech concludes Moshe spoke in the ears of all of Klal Yisrael. That's the Moshe asked Klal Yisrael to listen to him. Listening, shemiah. And now Moshe turns to the shamayim and he says, "Ha'azinu shamayim v'esishma." So, there's a connection in terms of the faculty of listening. Vayelech ends with the listening of the Bnei Yisrael and Hazinu begins with the listening of the shamayim. But more of more note of more compelling
