shalom my dear friends allow me to say a few words regarding relating to parashat kitavo which is the parashat that's coming up this coming shabbat well my intention is of course to bring the idea of the month of elul which is the month of teshuva and to try to find in our parashah a connection there is always a connection to everything that we want that's the magic of our torah but first i would like to speak about the beginning of this parasha begins with the words which means when you're lucky enough to finally come to the land of israel and to live in it then what is our sages said that's written in the midrash bereshit i think it's chapter 43 and there it says it whenever it says the word and it shall be it's an expression of joy now first we have to understand that the imbe did explain in his famous and great commentary that here it is a hint to all of us that if you come to the land of israel you should come with joy come to it with with great with with your heart full of joy full of happiness not every jew has this kind of merit to come to live in the land of israel there are so many jews i know so many jews in america and everywhere whose greatest desire is to come and live in the land of israel but they find it very difficult we can understand that many times i'm being being asked by friends rabbi i would like to come to live in the land of israel can i come just like this i told him well depending if you have parnassa which means if you
