Good morning. Let's go live onto our Yes. And onto the parsha for this week. This week we begin the fourth book of the Torah. So we are ready 3/5 of the way there to the end of the Torah. We start the fourth book, the book of Bamidbar or known as the book of Numbers. And Bamidbar speaks of begins talking about counting the people counting the people based on their counting the people based on their um tribes. So split them up by tribes and then they're told that they're to camp organized by tribe where each tribe camps in a different place. And there are 12 tribes. Um However, the 12 sons of Jacob. However, one son Joseph is split into two. Each of his sons Ephraim and Manasseh their own tribe. and one son Levi is not counted, but rather stands apart from the other tribes cuz of their role to serve in the temple. The tribe of Levi is then counted as well separately. And is then counted as well separately. And then at the end of the parsha we are told to separate the tribe of Levi. Um I and they're going to and it begins telling us about their special role, telling us about one of the three Levite families. And then um next week it will tell us about the other um families. Um I should mention also that next week, meaning next Sunday, is going to be the first of the month of the Sivan, the third month of the year's counting from Nissan, from month of Passover. Um
