so we left off with the rabbi trying to explain in a very complicated way how how god speaks to people that was the question that the king asked he says everything's nice and uh hunky-dory you're telling me about abraham isaac j fine everything okay fine that was everybody the same language fine fine i'm not arguing with that what how do you prove that god can speak to people wait so he says so he says first of all you have to understand that every aspect of nature is connected to god that was the whole very complicated period that we dealt with form and matter right remember that and you're like what is going on so his point is very simple that god is connected to every aspect of nature from the ant to the moon god is connected to each one so it is not so difficult to assume that so it is not so difficult to assume that god has a connection to human beings so i say okay connection to human beings in some remote way it doesn't mean that god speaks to them so then he says he gets to explaining to them about the exodus from egypt that the exodus remedies could not have happened without direct intervention from god and you remember i described to you the egyptian society as being so advanced and so powerful and all these and so powerful and all these uh um aspects of the society that they were so dominant over the jewish slaves and no jewish slave ran away so that you would say listen this religion you know all these slaves ran away and they came up with a story you couldn't run away from the egyptians do you know why this is sort of archaeological evidence because they had a series of forts between egypt and kanan
