Hi, this is Dov bar Laserski, uh with our parsha in five, where in five minutes we try to give you an insight into the parsha, and this week is parshas Pinchas. In general, we only do yichus, father and son. Right? Yehoshua bin Nun, Nachshon ben Aminadav. We only go back one generation. When it's more than one generation, we have to ask why. Which means that Yisro, who was a non-Jew, and had served uh avodah zarah, he was an idol worshiper, had all of these terrible tendencies, and even when he became a Jew, those tendencies still existed inside of him. And so, they said, how could Elazar, son, who came from bnei Putiel, Pinchas, take a spear and stick it through two two of them, one of them who was a nasi, who, according to one view in the Gemara, was actually Shaul ben ha-Kena'anis, he was 250 years old. How could you do something that cruel? It must be because of the non-Jewish influence that he got from his other grandfather, Yisro. And so, we trace it back to his grandfather Aaron. We don't say
