0:00 We are honored to invite, with the blessing of the Torah, the great Gaon, the renowned dayan, the Rav, our teacher Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen, shlita, the Rav of the Shmuel HaNavi neighborhood. Please, with honor. - With the permission of our masters and teachers, the great Gaonim, each and every one according to his honor and his stature, the distinguished dayanim, the heads of the yeshivos, and the holy and honored congregation.

0:54 Our teacher the Rav, the great Gaon for whose sake we have gathered, Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda — may Hashem guard him and give him life — conducts himself according to the view of the Yerushalmi: that indeed, in every situation — scatter.

1:25 And indeed this approach has stood by him: "Yosef is a fruitful son, a fruitful son by a spring," for to him gather people from all circles, great and small, and whenever they draw from him, they find flavor.

1:49 Grace is poured upon him, and the kindness of Hashem is upon those who fear Him. Grace For love of the Jewish people is planted in his heart in an exceedingly wondrous way, and his humility makes us great, for indeed, "Moshe went down to the people."

2:19 And with fierce love and abundant humility, he flows forth — "Yosef is a fruitful son" — like a spring, in all parts of the Torah, wondrously, and all the people answer after him: "Sanctified, sanctified!" Our blessing to our teacher the Rav: that he may go on further to increase the honor of the Torah, and to increase soldiers for the Torah, and to increase the preparing of our hearts through his special sayings and his special prayers, to direct our hearts to Him, blessed be He, for we need prayer so very much at a time like this.

3:28 "And who knows whether it was for a time like this that you reached royalty" when harsh judgments have passed over the Jewish people over a long period, judgment after judgment, mixed and blended with great mercies.

3:55 Who knows if it was not for a time like this that our teacher and Rav has come, so that we gather around him and learn from his ways, and join together around our holy Torah and around the service of prayer.

4:24 These two mitzvos make a man — a man. "And man became a living soul" — Onkelos translates: "a speaking spirit." This is what brings about "and man became." "You are man," says the prophet Yechezkel. The "man" within us will indeed bring us to the wondrous state that we are waiting and pleading for: our redemption, the deliverance of our souls; and for all of us to unite in the same way — as it was planned that this gathering would be in the month of Sivan: "and Israel camped there opposite the mountain."

5:16 Indeed, for all of us to unite in love and affection, as in the morning we take upon ourselves a special acceptance of: "I hereby love each and every one of the Jewish people as my own soul and my own being," the mitzvah of "love your fellow as yourself." And through this the verse concludes, "I am Hashem": may the Shechinah of the high and exalted G-d dwell among us, and like a lioness crouching over her cubs, may no harm at all touch us, and may the wicked not stand in judgment.

5:50 May Hashem, blessed be He, grant us that all unite to accept upon ourselves the complete yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven, "and a redeemer shall come to Zion," speedily in our days. Amen.
