the greatest Revelation in Jewish history took place at Mount Si when God came down onto the mountain and Moses went up to God and over 3 million Jewish people witnessed God speaking to them the Ten Commandments we find a very interesting phenomena and that is that the first two Commandments God said together with one Commandments God said together with one word in other words I am God your lord and you shall not have any other gods before you God said together as one it was impossible for the human ear to understand this so God repeated it and he said I am God your lord and then again he said You shall not have any other gods before you and this is hinted inim in the Book of Psalms by King of Psalms by King David in Psalm s b Psalm number 62 it says over there one word did God say but we heard God say two words God said one commandment but we actually heard two commandments so the question is if it was impossible for the human being to hear these two Commandments as one why did these two Commandments as one why did God say both of them together and the fact that he knew that we could not understand it is because of the fact that he repeated it again afterwards as two separate commandments so what was the point of saying it together as one and similarly we find that the Commandment of sh which is the Commandment to keep the shabas holy so we find that it says once
