good evening and welcome to our weekly newly initiated weekly zoom group a husband's and father's zoom support group called the better husband i'm doing it as well for women called the growing wife and for men we're calling it the better husband and in the mode of personal growth and our desiring to become better people i believe that one of the reasons why we got married is for us to grow as people and i think being married causes us well i would say it forces us to grow as people it forces us to introspect and think of how we can improve in our character one of the keys to this idea is that when we get married and we have children if we're blessed with children we realize very quickly that we are no longer the center of the universe we thought we were when we get married we have to be not egocentric but other centered and we have to sublimate our ego toward our life and then when children come along and we have to interrupt our work and our learning and our panaso our livelihood and take care of children who need us we realize that it's not about us anymore it's about giving and that makes us grow in character so the first 15 minutes of our of each segment and we're going to meet every tuesday night at 8 30 to 9 30. i like to set the format as follows
