But this was the beginning of the end. The beginning of the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash happened by surrounding the city. By making a siege. By preventing the tamid tamid from getting in. Furthermore, these days, these three days we're in now, not everybody knows this, but these three days were essentially three days where different tragedies befell Klal Yisrael. And really Chazal wanted to make it that we would fast for three days straight. But they said we're we're not so strong to do that. We're not enough of an Israel.
