We are in the parashat Noach where we are reading about the flooding of the world. And this week in Israel we started getting the rain. So very uh very applicable. So very powerful parashah where we are introduced to the Hashem's wrath and with resulting with destroying the world and many other events that come after that, the rebuilding of the population of the world and then of course going on through the dispersion of all the nations when they start to come together against God and many interesting things. It's uh quite a important parashah for the history of mankind. But very interestingly we always need to focus on the small words of the parashah to find something that I can apply in my life and learn from that. And if I don't do that, then I missed the point. If I read just the parashah, the weekly portion, just to get a historical fact, I didn't do anything. The Torah is not a history book. The Torah is coming to teach me how I can become a much better individual. Now, when I want to become a better individual, and even if not, even if it's not on my focus about being a better individual I always want to know how am I doing in the eyes of others. Uh if I'm a boss, I want to know if I'm a good boss. If I'm a worker, I want to know that I work well. If I'm a husband, I want to know if I'm a good husband. And so forth. We are a very dependent on the opinion of the people who are associating themselves with me and with people that I associate with them. Now of course everybody likes hearing
