Jewish marriage part three. So last week we spoke about the commandment of procreation and we spoke about what happens at the Jewish wedding ceremony. Now we're going to speak about today who you should not marry and tomorrow we'll get to who you should marry. So that that's the topic. Which people are you not allowed to marry and then later on we'll speak about which people are you allowed to marry. So there's different categories of women that you're not allowed to marry and I sort of allowed to marry and I sort of categorize them based on the severity of the sin of marrying them. So there's different degrees of you know who you're marry who who you're not allowed to marry and we're going to break it down based on the severity of what's the problem of if you do marry them or even if you just have relations in an intimate way with them, you know, how problematic is it? The first category is what we call in Hebrew the aras. Arias means literally Hebrew the aras. Arias means literally means the nakedness and comes up in the book of Leviticus and say Vikra in both in the end of in the chapter 18 in Leviticus as well as again in chapter 20 of Leviticus.
