Rosh Hashanah, beyond the great spiritual powers of this day, which is the coronation of the Holy One, Blessed be He—everyone should try to imagine when they say there is an inauguration of a certain person—it could be a scholarly inauguration of a great Torah sage of his generation, or to differentiate (by vast differences) the inauguration of a president of a country, a superpower, or a prime minister—how much they prepare, and how they ready the streets, the roads, and the halls, and arrange the flowers! This is the essence of the coronation. It is true that during an inauguration, they also establish order, and the police ensure there are no breaches, and there are laws applied to those who wish to cause disorder; but those who wish to come and show respect certainly receive great influences as part of this coronation, and that is how our perspective on Rosh Hashanah should be. Rosh Hashanah, the day of the coronation of the Holy One, Blessed be He. And our mindset should be that the whole world is putting on a holiday; the King is arriving. "Seek the Lord while He is present, call upon Him while He is near"—these ten days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur,
