[Music] we are in parashat and we just finished celebrating the holiday of shavuot completing the the time of the omele the counting of the omel and in this week's parasha there are many interesting concepts but i want to focus on one particular one that might sound like we're saying it or learning it uh after the fact but that's the whole point of this mitzvah in this week's parashat we're learning about the mitzvah of pesachini now you might ask yourself yeah but we did persecution already a month ago aren't you late with teaching us about pesachini that's exactly what we're going to learn about being late when it comes to mitzvot and the idea behind pesach and yeah i think it's actually more appropriate that we're learning about pesach a month after pesach has nothing to do with the actual holiday it's about the concept what the mitzvah is about so before we start the class i have to share with you a funny joke you know uh many great sages started the class with a milita little words of uh of uh jokes so there's a story with one guy that it was always late doesn't matter what he did he was always late and at some point his boss told him listen he says it's already too much you come late all your crew looks at you they come late it's it's very very disturbing and you have to stop with that next time you're late just don't come okay so he says okay now i have to take
