So good morning. Let's get let's get started. So firstly this week's para is Noah. Noah last week was bat the first portion of Genesis. This week is Noah. Um it starts out with after Hashem had created the world and humanity had grown and there was now a big sizable population. um according the Torah's year numbers put us at in the way sedol counts it puts us at 1600 years already counts it puts us at 1600 years already after Adam and now after Adam was created and uh now the people have become corrupted they are um they are uh guilty of um theft um and um and sexual immorality and the the whole the uh all the people are corrupted and we also mentioned at the end of last week's para um there's there's rape going on and all sorts of problem bad society. Hashem decides that he's going to destroy the decides that he's going to destroy the society. There's only one good person and that is Noah. So he tells Noah to build a ark, a giant ark. Gives the exact size of the ark 30 um 50 uh sorry um 150 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits high. It should be have three floors. The top should be the roof should be slanted so that the water comes down the side. Um and so he's given kind of quite a lot of details. Um
