so um Shalom to everybody uh my name is Rabbi morai ysf bin Abraham um I'm from Los Angeles right now I'm in the holy city of yine sitting with Rabbi Bron uh very uh amazing author speaker and it's just such an honor to be with him uh one of the things you know we're just having a conversation you know we're having a conversation like so many people in the tradition of Judaism will come together and will contemplate the world's issues and different things and and really try to find meaning for ourselves and for anybody who's listening so um I just want to go right into it and so last week we met and when I talked a little bit about this issue with Gaza and this whole experience now one of the big you know issues that came out in the news was that Egypt um blocked the southern border right so there's two borders there's there's the southern border to Egypt and then there's into Israel so now most of the citizens who were fleeing you know this crazy uh situation that Hamas has created for them which is basically a living hell um Egypt is not allowing them in at all and so I I I want to I want to know a little bit about maybe a little bit about your background your family's background and what was it like for Jews living in Egypt since it's like a big point of discussion now and why do you think they don't want Hamas to come in but it's funny um I'm I'm paying attention as well to the reaction of the country surrounding us specifically
