said a good morning. So, we're up to Siman 12 Tes Halacha Vav. The Vav and Zayin today in the Shulchan Aruch. Says the Mechaber, Halacha Vav, "Al bat Eruv ain nischaf." So, a guy wants to make an Eruv Techumin and he takes some food and he puts it up to 2,000 amos away from where he's sleeping, for example, and that way tomorrow he can go 2,000 amos in the other direction. But, what happens if the Eruv is lost, the food that he puts aside is lost or nischaf or is burnt? "Im haya besifas Techumin nischalgel "Im haya besifas Techumin nischalgel chutz l'arba amos." Or he said he put it at the edge of the Techumin and it rolls out more than four amos beyond the boundary. We said yesterday that's a problem. "Im haya Techumin nitzma." Or the food was Techumin and it became tamei. "Mib'edi yom ain Eruv." If all of this happens before Shabbos came in, then ain Eruv. "Bish'cha she'echa haya Eruv." But, if it happened after Shabbos came in, then it's okay. "She'kniyas Eruv bein hash'mashos." Because the kinyan, the the trigger time is bein hash'mashos. "Im safek kasha." "Im safek kasha." If it was if it was a safek, then it's kasha. "She'safek Eruv kasha." We always pasken safek Eruv bein is the kula and therefore it's kasha. "For who she'yala chezkas kashrus." As long as there was a chezkas kashrus and then the safek arose. "K'vein zeh she'nichu sham." He left the food there and then it got lost or it got burnt or rolled away or something. "Ve'Eruv besafek." We're not sure. "Aval im lo haya l'chezkas kashrus." But, if there was never a chezkas kashrus to begin with, "K'vein safek im hu l'chatchila." "Sham im lav, then lo haya."
