So, I'd like to quote from the Ben Ish Hai that is actually sources today's topic in last week's Torah portion Parashat Behaalotecha when regretfully we come across a complaint. People sometimes, I hope not too much, they complain. I want to tell you a secret. The more a person complains, the more reason to complain they give the person. The more grateful you are, the more you count your blessings, the more reasons to be thankful they give you. So, basically, the Torah is telling us, and actually the source of this statement is this week's Torah portion, Parashat Shelach, that talks about the spies that came back and unfortunately gave a negative report about the land of Israel.
