welcome to our wednesday evening personal growth kabura tonight's parsha is parshas noah and tonight we're going to talk about the surah the form of man and how to make a name for ourselves it seems that there is a drive it seems that there is a drive in the human psyche to make a name for ourselves to make our mark to make a legacy in this world to make a difference in this world and we can learn from the torah on a level of personal growth how we can make a real name for ourselves from understanding the moral message of noah there are two dimensions or two parts of life one is called surah surah one is called surah surah t-z-u-r-a-h surah sadi vabre means purpose essence there is an essence of life and then there is homer homer means the raw material of life the physical dimension of life the means the ends the purpose the meaning the tachlas the destination is surah the tachlas the destination is surah essence and the means to get there is homer when we said god created shamayim there destination destiny that's essence the essence of life is to achieve destiny personal destiny which means the full development of your character the purpose of life is to become the best person you can become that's called i'm going to heaven it doesn't mean i'm going to heaven it doesn't mean heaven that's the king james version or translation of the word shaman doesn't mean heaven it means sham there and shamayim in the plural is the thereof theirs which means the ultimate destination which is the personal growth that i'm achieving i have to become a better person a kinder person a softer person more patient person a more giving person a smarter person and more forgiving person
