The shiur in English

0:00 And one of the things that is important to know: that the greatest tikkun for every sin, for all the transgressions, for all the iniquities, is that a person accustom himself to learn about everything in which he stumbles, everything that is hard for him. Many times people learn, baruch Hashem, learn Torah, they rise up. There is one who, baruch Hashem, is already expert, keeps Shabbos according to halachah, is meticulous in keeping Shabbos, and baruch Hashem, expert in the laws of Shabbos and everything, but with lashon hara he is not careful.

0:26 He speaks lashon hara, suddenly, about his neighbor, speaks about his employer, speaks about the place that employs him, and with lashon hara he is not careful. So his tikkun has to be that he must learn the laws of lashon hara every day. And another example: a person who sanctified himself and rises and everything, but he does not guard his eyes. And he comes to the kollel, or comes home, sits every day learning the laws of meat and milk.

0:54 It is excellent that he learns the laws of meat and milk, but he also needs to learn about the holiness of the eyes. Every day. As the Urim VeTumim - the Mishnah Berurah brought the Urim VeTumim in the introduction to the laws of Shabbos - that whoever does not learn the laws of Shabbos certainly desecrates Shabbos, the same holds for a person who does not learn about the holiness of the eyes, does not learn about the holiness of thought, does not learn about the holiness of the covenant - how can he rise and become holy in the covenant, in the eyes and in thought?

1:18 So therefore we must know that, beyond the tikkun that we do, one also needs to learn a little every day about the holiness of the eyes, the holiness of thought, the holiness of the covenant.
