[Music] welcome everybody what is the worst trait that a person can have put it this way what is the per trait that does more damage to your body and to your soul then all the biblical Commandments combined one word anger anger anger does more we know that how much anger destroys the body there's so many research studies that show what stress does to the body how many illnesses how many psychosomatic problems strokes heart attacks migraine headaches you name it when anger does to the soul is even worse anger is like an acid that corrodes the soul that destroys it anger is an emotion that sends God running away from you as soon as you get angry under any circumstance it's just about any circumstances we'll talk about that you lose all of your merits you lose all of your righteousness you lose your good deeds is it worth forfeiting all of the good that you've done in the world to get angry and explode and feel good for a couple of seconds I doubt it so we're gonna talk about anger we're gonna see what our holy rabbi say what the sages say about it we're gonna try to understand how we can uproot it and how we can live a life of peace even when we're being confronted even when you're being insulted even when your children are not listening to you that you could be calm you can be happy no matter what so like that stick around this is what we're gonna talk about today let's start with what the sages say anger is
