happy and healthy year sanatorium would have liked to be here tonight said that there's going to be a lot of kadusha in this room this evening and there certainly is but let's not beat around the bush and ignore the proverbial elephant in the room there's also a lot of pain in this room tonight there is tremendous pain and honestly I do not feel like I have the word the right words to say I was asked to address the following question for the last 10 15 20 years perhaps longer I come to shul and every year I'm asking for the same thing that's just one request and the years pass and I'm watching my younger siblings getting married and I'm at watching everyone else in my family with their kids and I'm by myself hoping one day for my own family I'm going to Bar mitzvah's bass Mitzvahs of nieces and nephews and sometimes even the weddings of nieces and nephews and I try to put on a smile and make believe that I'm happy for them and I truly am happy for them but it's also so painful and every Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur I turn and I cry and I beg to Hashem when is it going to be my turn and it's just a very painful and difficult time of the year and I'll be honest with you when I heard this question my reaction was this this is a heart-wrenching question my heart goes out to you and honestly I feel that I am completely inadequate to be able to offer a meaningful response
