The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Shalom Landau’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.
Great minds think alike. Maybe, but never get mad at her. If your wife thinks like you, what do you need it for? Think about it. If you only feel close to her when she agrees with you, whom do you love? Her or your own opinion coming back to you? A marriage doesn't either mean surrendering to everything she thinks, because then you disappear. Real love is when you bring what you see, she brings what she sees, and something new is created. You think your child needs a consequence. She thinks your child needs a conversation.
