So, we're in the Zera Shimshon on parshas Chukas. In the safer itself, it's daf resh tet zayin. No, resh tet vav. And we're doing os dalet, section four, os dalet in the Zera Shimshon, again parshas Chukas. Pasuk. Zera Shimshon starts off with a pasuk. Zos haTorah adam ki yamus ba'ohel. The it's actually a fragment, a part of a pasuk. This is the law, a man who dies in a tent. So, just to talk about that in a tent. So, just to talk about that pasuk for a second before we go further, the pasuk that pasuk is introducing a small section in the parsha that talks that teaches the laws of an ohel. That normally to become tamei, tamei meis, you have to become in contact, physical contact with a dead body. You have to touch the dead body. But let's imagine that there's a dead body in a tent, or in our terms, in a house. And you enter into that tent, or you enter into that house, then the Torah is teaching here that you then the Torah is teaching here that you would become tamei, similar to, equivalent to if you had actually touched the body, and you would be tamei for seven days. Again, just like as if you had come in physical contact with the body. So, that's what this pasuk is talking about. Again, zos haTorah, this is the law, adam ki yamus ba'ohel, a man who dies in a tent. And then the pasuk in the next going to talk about if a man dies in a tent, the people in the tent, even though they haven't touched the dead body, become tamei meis, they become tamei for seven days.
