I want to give you three points to think about first voice. Um and each one of them opens up a different different perspective on Torah. The first one is There's a There's a statement that the Gomorrah makes. The Gomorrah says in Sukkah, Rav Yosef says the following. The Gomorrah says, Rav Yosef b'yoma d'Atzarta. Rav Yosef on Yom Ha'Atzarta, Atzeres is shuos. Atzeres shuos is called Atzeres in the Torah. So, Rav Yosef b'yoma on Atzeres, he said avdi egla tisa. An egla tisa literally means the third calf. The Gomorrah says that the third calf There are different opinions whether the third calf means a An egla tisa. The word tisa plus is the Aramaic for shalosha. Always substitute a tav for a shin. A tav in Aramaic corresponds to a shin. So, tisa, which is the number three in Aramaic, tisa in chada tray tisa, substitute the two tavs for two shins and you get shalosha. The tav is interchangeable The shin doesn't always work. It doesn't always work by tray, which is two. If you change the shin, you're just going to get shray, which doesn't mean anything. But But often, if you don't know the word, just Those are two of the letters interchangeable. I heard somebody ask this morning if Aramaic and Hebrew are closely related. They are very closely related. And therefore, it's almost like almost like Yiddish and German. Uh they use it in by comparison. So, so the uh Rav Yosef said, "Make me a egla tisa." Egla tisa, according to some, means the third calf out of the stomach. And some say it means a three-year-old
