Okay, good morning. Um, we're going to continue. I'm going to keep my word. We're going to continue. We're going to talk about the edition, the translation. Um, uh, it's a little diff. It's a little bit of a different kind of suga today. More of like, I guess, a hashkafa type of suga than than than the usual. But, um, let's try to go through it. Just by by way of introduction, Rabbi Adin Evan Israel Steineltz, he changed his name at some point, his last name from Schnezeltz to Evan Israel. Um he from Schnezeltz to Evan Israel. Um he like Israelified it was born inims I think to I think his parents were Russian um like you know first generation Russian olim. I don't think his parents were from at all. He was born in a totally not religious family. Eventually he he was brilliant. He was very very smart man, very clever. Um and during his teens he started learning he learned a lot of Tyra he also learned a lot of secular secular studies he was he was very well verssed in both fields um as a young adult he became fully from as a young adult he became fully from and then by 28 years old he started his project of translating the whole shas which is a a pretty serious undertaking to take I think it's a young man's a young man's type of dream to be to translate the whole the whole shas at 28 he starts it in 1960 something um he didn't complete it until like maybe deep into the 80s it was like a 45 year project. I think he did most of it himself. He had helpers but he did most of it himself. Now what he did is he translated all of Shass into into Hebrew like he took it from from Lion that
